Dr. Ott the owner of Active Life San Diego Chiropractic and Sports Injury Prevention is a member of a local Crossfit Box and attends classes 2-3 times weekly, so he understands the demands of CrossFit on the body and how well the biomechanics have to be functioning to get the full benefit of the workouts. Dr. Ott took the Level 1 Crossfit certification course to intimately familiarize himself with all the basic movements (not to coach or affiliate) so he again, knows how important your performance is to you each and every workout and how to maintain a high performance level and still improve.

CrossFit members along with Dr. Ott may sometimes struggle with irritations to chronic injuries or may not have the flexibility/mobility needed to safely and effectively progress with Olympic lifts like the overhead squat, snatches, thrusters or the clean and jerk. When it comes to CrossFit, Dr. Ott will commonly treat:
